Our 2017 events

3-4 March, Gran Fondo Dead-Sea, p/b Israel Cycling Academy (Israel)

Israel's largest Gran Fondo in the lowest place on earth, including the biblical "Scorpion Pass".
Israel Cycling Academy is the title sponsor of the event in 2017.

15-17 May, Riding in honor of Gino Bartali (Florence, Italy)

A tribute event to the legendary Italian champion who risked his life, in order to save the life of hundreds during the holocaust, and never talked about.

The 2017 event include:

- a ride from Bartali Museum in Florence to the UNESCO heritage town of Assisi, lead by Israel Cycling Academy pro riders

- meeting with Bartali's family and his close friends

- a lecture by the author of "Road to Valor" book about Bartali, Aili McConnon

- A VIP visit behind the scenes of the Giro d'Italia

1-4 June, Sea Otter Europe (Girona, Spain)

America's greatest cycling festival is coming to our training base, in Girona, Spain!
Our team riders are leading the International Cycle Tour on Sunday, June 4th

22-25 June Ride for the Living (Krakow, Poland)

Ride for the Living is an annual fundraising event, a 55-mile ride from Auschwitz to JCC Krakow, not only remember the Jewish history but celebrates and supports the miraculous rebirth of Jewish life in Poland today.

Our team is proud to endorse and support this important cause!

August 5 - The Ultimate Challenge - Tour of Utah (Utah)

The ultimate challenge is a Gran Fondo hosted by the Larry H. Miller Tour of Utah.

The ride follows the Queen Stage route of the Tour of Utah and with the same climbs and high-altitude finish, has earned the title of "America's toughest one day cycling adventure". This year will also feature timing of the final climb up Little Cottonwood Canyon.

Israel Cycling Academy supporters will participate in the ultimate challenge and will enjoy a special VIP treatment on the finish line, while waiting to cheer for our Pro riders, racing the Queen stage of the Tour of Utah.

August 11-13 - Velorama Colorado (Denver, Colorado)

Velorama is a new kind of festival, combining the Colorado Classic, a world-class pro cycling race, with headliner music acts and a full-on, 3-day street party in the RiNo Art District.

Starting Friday afternoon, August 11, twelve blocks of RiNo Art District will be transformed into a festival for an incredible weekend of bands, bikes and beyond, lasting through the big race finale on Sunday.

In addition to music, the RiNo street party will be packed with all kinds of fun, including the Drink RiNo Beer Garden, a bike expo, special events, plenty of local food, and the Denver Flea, the Front Range’s favorite curated showcase of Colorado makers. And of course the best views of the Colorado Classic bike race — the start/finish line and a thrilling criterium.

16-17 August Bike4Chai (Connecticut/New-York, USA)

Bike4Chai is a premier charity cycling event, direct benefit the children of Chai LifeLine.

Chai LifeLine provides seriously and chronically ill children and their families with support and encouragement during their most trying times.

Israel Cycling Academy riders and management will lead the 180 miles rider across 2 days, for such an important cause!

Alyn Ride Wheels of Love - 29 October - 2 November

Alyn Hospital is Israel's premier rehabilitation center, providing rehabilitation to physically disabled children from birth to young adulthood.

Since 1934, the overriding mission of ALYN has been to help each reach the highest possible levels of mobility and independence.

ALYN is a magical place where miracles happen because of the words "impossible" and "can't" aren't in the vocabulary.

"Alyn Wheels of Love" is the annual international charity ride for the children of ALYN Hospital.

Israel Cycling Academy supports the ride and will join the riders in this important mission.
