Mihkel Raim got ICA its first win of the season in tour Azerbaijan

It is one thing to make your decisions when you are behind an
Office desk. It is quite a different story to make it with a blink
Of an eye when you are on your bike at 60 km per hour under a huge amount of pressure. 

Do not be mistaken. Mihkel Raim was under pressure. We needed
To win. He needed to win. And when that finish line was close, he
Took the gamble.

In our lead out. And I decided to let him open a gap and to slow down. I was thinking I have a better Chance to follow the sprinters that will close the gap". 

It worked. He followed them and was able to sprint to his and the team's
First win of the season.

G later said that he was sure that MIkuu would have won anyway. "We

Executed our plan perfectly" he said. "So happy that we relieved the pressure a bit".

At one point at this opening stage of Tour de Azerbaijan, (148
Km from Baku to Sumgait), we thought our chance was slipping away. That's
When a 5 men breakaway had about 3 min gap on us going into
The city laps. Our Israeli champion Guy Sagiv was sent to pull the peloton
With Canadian Ben Perry helping out. Then other pro continental teams
Joined and helped as nobody wanted to miss that sprint.

The rest is history. We got that long awaiting win.

But no one was over elated. 4 stages left and the main
Goal is to try to win the whole tour. "It's a new ball game tomorrow"
